Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Anything we haven’t answered here, write to support@logggs.com or call (844) 393-9303.

Which aircraft is it for?

Logggs was originally built for general aviation: piston singles, twins and warbirds, with handwritten or typed logbooks going back decades.

How soon can I start?

Within minutes. Once your account is created and payment is processed, our automated engine builds your portal, sets up its DNS and its security, and it’s ready for you to configure and upload logs.

What does it read?

Airframe, engine, propeller and loose records, handwritten or typed. Each entry becomes a record with its date, tach and Hobbs, total time, the work and who signed, and the original logbook scanned image is kept beside it.

Do I have to scan the logbooks myself?

No. Scan them with a phone or an overhead scanner and upload them yourself, or send them to us: we scan and read them for you, quoted up front.

What if something is read wrong?

Correct the reading from the physical log. Your correction is kept on top and the original reading stays, so you can always see both. Doubtful readings are flagged for you to check.

Does it replace my paper logbooks?

No. The paper stays the record. Logggs is the copy you can search and check, and an IA’s inspection of the aircraft decides what is airworthy.

How does it know what’s coming due?

From your own entries and the FAA registry: the annual, ELT, transponder and pitot-static checks, overhauls, ADs and your registration. Each item links to the entry it was worked out from.

Can my mechanic use it?

Yes. Give your A&P or IA mechanic access to add entries, upload scans and work through the pre-annual checklist and squawk list.

What happens when I sell the aircraft?

Give a buyer or seller read-only access until a date you set. When the sale closes, the records move to the new owner in one step.

Who can see my records?

Only the people you invite, with the role you give them. Your aircraft live in your own separate portal, apart from every other customer’s, and we never use your data to train a model.

How do I sign in?

With Google or a one-time email link, at your own site. There are no passwords.

How is this different from scanning the logs myself?

Anyone can scan a logbook. Our proprietary scan engine reads every entry and adds context, provenance, links between the logbooks and anomaly detection. Provenance and accuracy are the product.

Can I get a copy of my records?

You can get a copy of your original log files that were uploaded. Write to support@logggs.com from the account owner’s email address and we’ll send them to you.

Can I leave?

Yes. Ask support for a copy of your records first if you’d like one; we delete your documents on request.

What happens if my plan ends?

The site closes for everyone, the owner included. Your records are kept for 30 days; to restore the site or get a copy, write to support@logggs.com before then.
